Field Trial
Seed Company—AgriSeed Midwest

Three-Season Drought-Tolerance Trial

AgriSeed needed replicated field data across diverse soil types — not greenhouse results. We ran 14 hybrid treatments across our North Fields, covering loam-to-clay gradients that mirror their target markets in Kansas and Nebraska. Three seasons of hard data, independently verified.

Watershed Study
State Agency—State Water Resources Board

Agricultural Runoff & Watershed Study

The board needed data that would survive legal challenge in a contested watershed management case. Our instrumented tile-drain network across the south fields produced court-admissible records of nutrient loading under four cover-crop regimes. The data held up.

Soil Health
Regional Co-op—Tri-County Grain Cooperative

Soil Health Benchmarking Program

The co-op's member-farmers needed a baseline and a roadmap. We established 47 permanent monitoring plots across their service area, running annual biological, chemical, and physical soil assessments. Every member farm now has five years of trend data they can take to the bank — literally.

We've run trials with four universities. Tillage is the only one where the data came back clean enough to take to our regulatory team without a second look. They understand that for us, every row is a commercial decision.

The watershed data from Tillage's tile-drain network was the foundation of our watershed management plan. It survived two rounds of legal challenge. That's not something you get from a university that treats the farm as a teaching prop.

Our member-farmers were skeptical of university research until they saw their own field names in the data tables. Tillage made it local. Five years in, we have benchmarks that are changing how our members think about their ground.
